HSE Director — Iberian Peninsula

About the role

You will lead Health, Safety, and Environment strategy across Hextal's Iberian operations, covering Spain and Portugal. With responsibility for 4,200 field personnel and 34 active construction sites, you will set the safety culture, drive incident reduction programmes, and ensure compliance with national regulations and Hextal's group-wide HSE framework. You will report directly to the Managing Director, Iberia.

What we are looking for

  • BSc or MSc in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of HSE experience in construction, including 5 years at director level
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent European safety qualification
  • Proven track record of driving safety culture change and incident reduction in large-scale construction operations
  • Knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese occupational health and safety regulations
  • Fluent Spanish and English; Portuguese highly desirable

Salary
